Thank you for signing up for the Fall ACM @LSU LAN Party. Your registration has been noted, and we are going to have a spot for you. We are going to be in Tureaud Hall 108, 109, 112, and/or 116. You should be able to find us in one of those rooms by at least 7pm (probably earlier though). We are not going to guarantee that everything will be ready to play before 7, but you will probably be able to catch us there a little earlier than that.

If you are bringing a desktop or a laptop, please be sure to bring a power strip/surge protector, a long Ethernet cable, and headphones. (If you have a laptop you may be able to squeeze by without bringing a surge protector, but you will most likely need to have a mouse).

If you are bringing a console, don’t forget to bring your TV, a power strip/surge protector, a long Ethernet cable, and any headset you may use with your console.

The following games are currently loaded on the server:

· Call of Duty 4 · Quake 3 · Unreal Tournament 2004 · Team Fortress 2 · Left 4 Dead · Counter-Strike: Source · Counter-Strike 1.6

We can play other games as well if needed, just let us know tomorrow night.

As far as food goes, we are going to take up a collection at the event to get pizza.

Thanks for bearing with me through that long email, and as always Happy Fraging! For any additional information/updates please see http://acm.lsu.edu/wiki/LAN_Party.

Sincerely,

Alexander Chretien
